Japanese non-state holiday is celebrated in Sapporo, capital of Hokkaido, annually at the beginning of February and lasts 7 days. During the festival, constructed more than a hundred sculptures of snow and ice.The tradition of celebrating the Snow Festival originated in 1950. That year, in the framework of children's party, high school students of one of the schools in Sapporo Odori Park snow six animal figures have been established. It made an impression on passers-by to observe the work. Since then, the inhabitants of the city have become each year in early February to build figures out of snow and ice.
In my opinion ait is great idea about winter festival with figures from snow or ice.
You can enjoy of beautiful snows figures. This can be : house, hero from film, animals.
